For exceptionally valorous achievement while assigned as a Company Mentor to the 3/2/209th Afghan National Army, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. First Lieutenant Galeti, with disregard for his own safety, provided accurate ground truth reporting allowing for accurate International Security Assistance Forces fire against the Taliban, preventing friendly forces casualties. His exemplary performance of duty contributed immensely to the overall success of the unit's mission. First Lieutenant Galeti's dedication to service reflects great credit upon himself, the United States Army and the Department of Defense.
