Citation

EDWARD N. DUBEY, (32525305), Corporal, Infantry, Company “H”, Infantry Regiment, United States Army. For heroic achievement in action on 14 May 1944, in Italy. When the advance of his squad was held up by intense enemy action, Corporal Dubey, although under fire from an enemy sniper, ordered two members of his squad to cover his advance while he attacked an enemy occupied house with a rocket launcher. Despite heavy fire being directed upon him he moved his weapon into a position from which he could fire on the house, forcing nine of the enemy to surrender.
