For valorous and meritorious actions while engaged in direct combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on 4 October 2010. Corporal Kolasinski's courage and selfless dedication in a combat zone, under the most extreme of circumstances, greatly contributed to the fight against the war on terrorism. Corporal Kolasinski's actions reflect great credit upon himself, Task Force Currahee, Combined Joint Task Force-101 and the United States Central Command.
