Currently the Ohio Military Hall of Fame hosts one annual event: the induction ceremony.

The induction ceremony is held on the first Friday in May in the Atrium of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, except as noted below.

The public is welcome to join us each year as we present the Ohio Medal of Valor to approximately twenty Ohio military heroes. The exact number depends on how many valid applications we receive by January 31 each year.
