The Ohio Military Hall Of Fame For Valor was organized as a Non-Profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c) specifically to

“honor Ohio citizens who have served in the United States military forces and who have distinguished themselves by displaying extraordinary heroism in combat; and, to educate future generations of the sacrifices made to secure the freedom enjoyed today through personal visits to schools; and, to develop curriculum materials for educational institutions in order to expand the knowledge and awareness of the opportunities and advantages of residing in a democratic society.”

The Ohio Military Hall Of Fame For Valor exists solely on the tax deductible gifts of its supporters. 100% of all donations are applied to the acquisition of award medals, certificates, and other services required to recognize the inductees. Board Members serve as volunteers and devote hundreds of hours each year to plan and conduct the ceremony and ensure that Ohio’s Heroes receive their due recognition.
